Charlie Chan in London (1934)

Charlie Chan, a well-known private investigator, is visiting England.  A woman begs his help to clear her brother of the charges of murder before he is executed.

The first Charlie Chan movie ever made.  I know this is reprehensible of me but I do have a soft spot for Mr. Chan.  The female lead in this movie was whiny and constantly breaking down emotionally.  I thoroughly disliked her.

The movie was dull in spots but fairly entertaining for its type.
