scavenger hunt: red riding hood

This is just link-blogging but scavenger hunt sounds more like a game. I was inspired by Evanescence’s “Call Me When You’re Sober” to find images, clips, blogs, websites, etc about Little Red Riding Hood.

To start off, I found a nicely annotated version from Sur La Lune Fairy Tales. There’s more about Red Riding Hood here: lists of modern variations, illustrations, and an active forum with very intelligent posters.

An analysis of the movie Company of Wolves. I liked the movie but some people said the story structure was too circular. The wolves at the end are adorable.
The movie Company of Wolves was based on Angela’s Carter’s short story from her collection of revisioned fairy tales, Bloody Chamber. The whole collection is excellent reading.

Wolf’s Rain is a SF series about wolves who can Jedi-mind-trick humans to disguise themselves. I like the series and I like Bowling for Soup, so it works for me. Your mileage may vary.
